Description
A quick step-by-step of the basics of how I apply colored pencils to parchment paper.
The parchment paper is a standard 8.5" x 11" and can be purchased for about $20.00 for 100 sheets at an office supply store (usually in the resume paper section).
I used Prisma colored pencils -but any brand will work. I like Prisma because of the softer tones available. I also use plain Bic mechanical pencils.
Before beginning a Poke'mon realism, I always have several reference photos; usually just one of the Poke'mon as Nintendo publishes, then several photographs of animals that I feel best represent the Poke'mon. For Mega Altaria I used a Crowned Crane as Reference.
