Totodile

Totodile are small aquatic reptiles that can live in both salt and fresh water. They have two fangs in their upper jaw that protrude when their mouths are closed. They only have eight teeth in their jaws; as they grow more teeth appear. The red crests on their back absorb sunlight, power-charging this tiny poke'mon.


ENVIRONMENT
Most Totodile that are available to young trainers are bred in captivity. Wild Totodile can be found in estuaries where they are sheltered in the brackish waters and reeds. They are also seen frequently sunbathing along sandy coasts and river inlets.


TRAINER TIPS
Totodile are offered as a starter poke'mon for Trainers in the Johto region. Totodile are very enthusiastic. However, they do not respond well to failure or neglect.
