Pichu and Raichu

Pichu: small electric rodents, they are often seen scurrying between small network communities in environments ranging from grasslands and cities, to cave entrances and forests. Their diet varies according to their surroundings. Though resourceful, they are shy around people, and even more so towards other pokemon. Their electric sacks on their cheeks do not hold much electricity. In order to evolve your Pichu into the iconic Pikachu, one must develop a strong emotional bond with his/her pokemon. In the wild, pichu evolve once they have gained enough confidence, typically from its parents or siblings. Pichu are not usually solitary and prefer the company of related pikachu or pichu. Raichu tends to be too aggressive to live among colonies dominaed by pichu. However, it is not uncommon for Raichu parents to raise litters of pichu together.

Raichu: Larger than both Pichu and Pikachu, Raichu evolves from Pikachu once it is exposed to an elemental stone. Raichu are very confident and attack without hesitation if they feel threatened. Raichu will not be intimidated into fleeing, especially since it learns fighting and ground type attacks, providing a wide range of advantages. It cheeks are always filled with concentrated electricity that it often lets out if the pressure becomes too intense. Raichu uses its tail as a ground to its electricity. Though Raichu are naturally independent, they can develop an unusually strong bond with their trainer. Domesticated Raichu love to sleep.

NOTE: Give a FEMALE Raichu or Pikachu a light ball to hold and breed an egg. The Pichu that hatches will then know volt tackle -the strongest electric move, though it deals a wicked recoil.
