Dragonair

Dragonair live in small colonies in deep water. They are dragon-type poke'mon with long elegant bodies. Males tend to have larger horns than females, and are used during mating as a demonstration of maturity. There are a total of six white feathery gills protruding from Dragonair's head; three on either side. Dragonair have three fat deposits: one on its throat, and two on its tail. The fat is stored in a translucent sack in the form of oil. Dragonair have become quite rare from hunting over the years as their oil and horns were once harvested by sailors. They are considered to hold magical properties. Dragonair are most prominently apparent on the surface of water after severe storms, and are therefore believed to be bringers of good luck and calm seas.
